Rights and duties of the reporting person
Protection, anonymity and confidentiality
All users of this channel are protected by law, which prohibits any kind of retaliation against them and guarantees their anonymity (where they so wish) or their confidentiality. The security of the information shared is guaranteed, and only the persons designated exclusively by the organisation and provided for by law will have access to it.
Good faith
Reports must be made in good faith. Misuse of the channel or making false statements is a serious matter and undermines the purpose of this channel, and may therefore give rise to sanctions.
Following up your report
We recommend that you access your record regularly, so that you can check its status or provide any clarification requested by the person handling the report. You can do so under Follow up my report with the code and key you received when you submitted it.
Your personal data
If you decide to provide us with any personal data that allows you to be identified, you may subsequently exercise your data protection rights. Please read our organisation's Privacy Policy.
Alternative channels
If you have reasonable grounds to believe that the report cannot be properly analysed or resolved within the company, or that there is a risk of retaliation, you may use other alternative channels; that is, you may contact the authorities competent for this purpose.
Guarantees of the Internal Reporting System
- Reporting persons are provided with a secure Internal System that guarantees:
- The possibility of reporting verbally or in writing. To report verbally, you can request a meeting in the form itself or attach a voice note.
- The option of remaining anonymous.
- VENAIR guarantees the reporting person's right not to suffer retaliation for information provided in good faith.
- This Internal Reporting System allows the reporting person to check the processing status of their report and to learn whether the investigation has concluded that there has or has not been a breach of the regulations applicable to VENAIR or of the Code of Ethics.
- The information provided will be confidential and the identity of the reporting person will not be disclosed to third parties, except at the request of a judicial authority, the Public Prosecutor's Office or the competent administrative authority in the context of a criminal, disciplinary or sanctioning investigation.
- In order to ensure the confidentiality of the data and of the subject matter of the communication, the documentation will be protected in accordance with the requirements of data protection legislation.
- Reporting persons may also choose to use the external channel offered by the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia (Oficina Antifraude de Catalunya) or the relevant independent whistleblower protection authority (A.A.I.) to provide information relating to VENAIR.
